On Contracts

Contract is the area of the law where the wishes of the parties can be memorialized in a legally enforcable manner.  Many contracts today touch on the subjects of copyrights, trademarks, and other rights to intangible information that make up much of our economy today.

Before you draft or sign a contract that deals with rights to use images, words, music, or other products of creativity, you owe it to yourself to have somebody who understands the law that creates these rights review it and make sure that it does what you want it to do.
